Doru was kind and welcoming and you could sense that he really loved the region and knew it well. Always opened to share his experience and also his recommendations to what yo do or where to go. It was a very nice stay and would for sure recommend it. Plus Predeal is a very nice town with nice hikes and also close to other cities like Bușteni or Sinaia where you can do some nice hikes too (and of course close to Brașov), with lots of trains going to all this places.

When we arrived at the Advent Center in Berivoi, we were welcomed with a big hug and a huge smile from the people at the center and from Rob himself. We learned so much about Christianity, community, a bit of construction, and many other things — all thanks to the genuine generosity that is so present in the place, in Rob, and in the other people at the center. Rob has a tremendous amount of knowledge and the ability to share it in a clear and simple way. We participated in a workshop that Rob gave, which really helped us understand what our vision is and how to bring it to life. This place will stay in our hearts, and we are so grateful for the precious time we spent there.

We enjoyed our time on the farm. The family welcomed us warmly. We helped with preserving food for the winter. The bread, cheese, and fresh milk from the farm are excellent. We’re happy to recommend this place.

Cosmin, Oana, Cris, and Andrei were wonderful hosts. We had the chance to taste several delicious Romanian dishes and discover their daily life. Our work mainly involved chopping wood for the winter, as well as harvesting fruit (apples, peaches) and feeding the chickens, geese, and ducks. The village of Tamașa is peaceful and soothing, nestled among the hills. It was a fabulous experience in Transylvania that we can only warmly recommend. Thank you again for your generosity!

I am very grateful for my stay at Cosmin s farm. I was welcomed into the family with great warmth and generosity. The family's roots are deeply attracted to the village and its way of life, so I was given a great insight into its food and farming. I enjoyed helping with the running of the orchards, polytunnels and preparing the wood for winter. It felt a small exchange, to then see the food being turned into great Romanian dishes for the table for us to enjoy as a family every day. Preserving food for the rest of the year was a good lesson. I was included in everything, from taking the apples for juicing, visiting local markets, picking mushrooms for breakfast, bottling mountain water to sightseeing trips. I have had such a rewarding experience, I consider myself so lucky. I hope Cosmin's family have chance to visit me in Wales. Diolch o galon Kerry

We had a very nice time at the goat farm. Jonas and Racula are great hosts and very nice people. We had a lot of fun cuddling baby goats, harvesting onions, playing with Vanya, processing vegetables, walking the dog Shaya... The village is a great place to relax and is full of lovely people. It was a nice experience to do many things in a traditional and natural way (showering outside (even with warm water), cranking water for the animals from the well, cooking and baking with fire,...). We hope that the two of them can continue to do this for a long time and remain such positive, great people. Thank you so much for everything!

It was a fantastic experience working with Andreaa and her family, working with all the animals and vegetables on her parents' farm. I'm very grateful to them for everything I was able to do there. The various tasks were both fun and challenging. I could communicate perfectly in English with some family members, and for the rest, I worked perfectly with Translate. I recommend this WOOOF experience to everyone, and I look back on it fondly. Romania is a beautiful country, and the farm was a special place to work. The owner, Ginia, is a wonderful cook, and she wants you to experience her cooking! Working with the water buffalo was also a unique experience, bringing them back to the stable every evening to be milked by hand. The many birds were beautiful to watch together, and the delicious eggs they laid were fun to collect. It was absolutely fantastic!

I spent about 2 weeks here and had a great time. I learned a lot and had a lot of new experiences. It is in a beautiful location and the hosts are welcoming. The tasks and hours vary day by day but are interesting and rewarding without being difficult. I also found the chickens, geese, and ducks to be very charming.

This experience exceeded my expectations. Rob is a very kind and attentive person, always making sure you're well and comfortable. He's a great host. The activities are simple and easy to do, and you also have the opportunity to learn new skills. In the afternoons, he gives you space to continue working on yourself or get to know the area. Something else I want to point out is that the food is super delicious and varied. Being here made me feel at home. The other volunteers are friendly, and over time, you become part of this great family.

Volunteering with Cosmin and Oana has been a wonderful experience. The whole family made us feel very welcome and we loved helping with harvesting, weeding and preserving the fruit and vegetables. Oana kept us well fed with fantastic Romanian recipes and we also got the opportunity to learn about and explore the local countryside and villages and to meet other people living locally. Many thanks 🤗

by visiting Ginia and Ghiță, we didn't meet just woofing hosts but also friends. we have the feeling that they would always welcome us with open arms and we are planning to visit them again, as soon as we can. even if we stayed only 4 days with them, it felt we know each other since a long time and we didn't have any problems accommodating with the tasks and do very pleasant and useful things in the short time we've been there.

My time spent living and working on Zsuzsa and Roger’s farm was such an incredible experience! They were so welcoming, kind and warm and I could not recommend this place more!! It felt like a dream waking up every morning to the beautiful Romanian countryside working in the garden, helping mud brick a wall. If you’re looking to work hard and play hard then this is your place :)
