Description of land and geographic region: Our village (originally Hungarian) of 300 inhabitants is situated at 25 km of Fagaras in Transylvania, in a hilly region at 500m altitude, surrounded by forests and grassland.
Agriculture is an element within others of our life. We developed different projects in favor of the local community. For example: a sawmill, regular transport service to Fagaras, recycling of plastic waste. In development is the creation of a small fire department for the village. We organize summer camps for young people and develop with them micro projects for the local community (f.e. activities for the children of the village).
We need help in building, working with wood, in the garden, taking care of the animals and food preparations. Agriculture is an element of our life. We have developed many community projects. We also organize summer camps, for children.
Accommodation is simple houses. Shower and toilets are outside. Heating with wood.
The idea of our project can be summarized with two words: autonomy and solidarity. Ideals that we try to come close, knowing that we can never reach them, but are constantly on the move towards them. In short: life is not boring for us and we have a lot of work.
